On July 12-15, 2006, the 7th European Youth ARDF Championships were held in Grudziadz, Poland. It's sometimes called the "IARU Region 1 Youth ARDF Championships." Teams from eight countries competed: Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Kazakhstan, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, and Ukraine.

When I look at the logo above and the photos below, it's hard to reconcile the cartoon images of kids having fun with the faces I see below. These are serious competitors, and this is a serious competition. But it does look fun...

The W15 2m winner was Zuzana Myslivečková (below) of the Czech Republic.

The M15 2m winner was Ondřej Jelínek (below) of the Czech Republic. The W15 80m winner was Šárka Jelínková (below) of the Czech Republic.

The M15 80m winner was Yaroslav Yavryk (below) of Ukraine.

All the photos here are captioned with mouse-over titles. I took all the photos from a much larger gallery of photos taken by the Czech Team. I'm told the most likely photographer is Marcela Šrůtová of the club Sporilov Prague. (Please email me with corrections for photo credit, misspelled names, etc.)

Full Results from the official event site, but no maps.
Photos from the Czech Team (including 2 map photos). (A neat gallery format, too. Click on the first photo to view them all.) Full Results and Course Analysis (including 2 map photos) from a German website using the software "FjwW", which is software used with SportIdent for ARDF Events. It was written by Karl-Heinz Schade, DL7VDB.
(I'm currently learning how to use FjwW, and I hope to use it for events in the near future.)
