I do a lot of searches for information about ARDF, and there's not much available in English.  A few years ago, Dale Hunt gave a presentation on ARDF Course Setting, and he passed out this article.  It's called "Building of ARDF Courses", and the subtitle is "Some thoughts on the organizing of the competitions and selection of courses in Amateur Radio Direction Finding (rev. 1)."  It's written by Jiři Mareček, OK2BWN, of the Czech Republic, a long-time ARDF competitor and event organizer.  He owns a company called OK2BWN Radio Sports Equipment.
