Bruce Paterson contributed some nice ARDF Tutorials. They were originally intended for people attending Orienteering Victoria events. He recommends reading the FAQ first. (We might be tweaking the text occasionally.) We can argue about things like whether or not to use a mapboard, and whether a baseplate or thumb compass is better, but these issues are subjective and not worth worrying about for beginners. All things considered, it's a very good introduction to Radio Orienteering. Bruce is a member of the Victorian ARDF Group, and a member of the Australian National ARDF Team. His Amateur Radio callsign is VK3TJN. He lives in Melbourne. Thanks, Bruce! Click here for brucep's ARDF Tutorials
